Great to see them.
It's a weird one for me. Third time I've seen them in Charlotte. From start to fish the whole event was a blast. Opening act was great. (now following). Second act well, was just that for me. And the finale' was phenomenal.
Sentimental for me taking one of my 13yr old twins to his first concert ever. The thing is he just started enjoying music in 2023. Period!! So this was big in my opinion. ABR rocked his world. They way everyone stayed so pumped and focused. Matt hyping the crowd. Then they played Mariana's trench and walked off the stage and lights went out.
We waited for a minute or two and we left. Not sure if they came back or to play more but never heard them and by the time we got in the car and to the street people were leaving. He was less bothered by it but it didn't have that personal touch they had the other two times I've seen them.
But hey I'm 42, they're still my favorite band. And I'd still go to any event they play at near me.
